….add up. In a major way. I decided when I woke up this morning that I’d been feeling really lethargic and grumpy. Then I tried to remember the last leafy greens I’d eaten. It’s been a while. I’ve been indulging in the holiday treats a bit too much. Instead of getting a muffin at my favorite hippie cafe I got a carrot ginger soup. Although it appears to have a little cream in it (it’s a bit sweeter than expected) I decided to eat half and call it a win.
My roomie is studying to be a holistic health counselor and she was telling me about a conversation she had with another counselor about giving food too much power. It’s just food. Worrying about what I’ll eat everywhere I go is insane. That being said, I don’t need to eat a piece of pumpkin bread every time I go into Starbucks, either. I’m leaving for Cabo in three and a half weeks and I don’t want to feel like a beached whale the entire trip. There’s only so much you can do in 3ish weeks, but whatever I can do I’m going to do.
