Apparently every time I pass a new Marianne Williamson book in the window of a bookstore, I must run in and buy it. I then become obsessed with reading her stunning, spiritual prose, work my mantras and journal for a few weeks, then fall back into my “normal” life. I’m confused. I want to be healthier, happier, and more confident, yet I’m having trouble fitting the practices that help to achieve those goals (journaling, meditating, working out) into my daily life. Obviously, I know I’m not alone in this.
So I’m looking for some good advice. Got any?
In other news, I’ve fallen in love. It’s getting pretty serious. I must listen to a certain amount of The Cure every morning or I just can’t seem to get my day started. Is there a support group for this sort of thing?
I have a thing for aging Brits these days :)
