Last night around 5pm I received an invitation to sit in the CBS box at the US Open. Clearly, I was giddy with excitement. I have very little experience with sitting in corporate boxes during concerts/sporting events. The handful of times this has happened to me have all been amazing. Between the free booze and food, the view is always stellar. I was close enough to see Federer and Tsonga’s facial expressions without looking at the big screen. That was definitely the best part. Oh and it didn’t hurt that CBS commentator Mary Carillo was sitting behind me in the box giving us her personal play by play.
I should also mention there was an hour rain delay due to heavy and extremely annoying mist. During that time Will Ferrell was interviewed from another box. Matthew Perry was spotted sitting not far from us and I proceeded to take several pictures of him and his much younger girlfriend. For your viewing pleasure here are some hiking and tennis photos. Many thanks to Allie for the amazing seats last night!!!
I sort of look pregnant in the above picture. Have no fear, I’m just bloated and scary looking.

My parents bringing up the rear.
This view is literally ten minutes from where I grew up. How lucky am I?
The views were worth the sweating and complaining.
Now onto some tennis…
So close, yet so far from that cute butt!
So that’s what I’ve been up to. What have you guys been up to?
