FOOD

Hi, blog friends.  I hope everyone enjoyed their weird holiday week.  Every day felt like Sunday and I was perpetually thrown off.  I have made the conscious decision to buckle down on my food intake with the hopes of buckling up my favorite outfits (see what I did there?).  Anyway, whenever I get serious about tracking and inhaling veggies I become a bit, ahem, irritable.  Luckily for my family, I spent the weekend sunning myself in Westchester so they were present to witness my 36 hour tantrum. I ate my chicken, fish, and veggies all weekend and sulked a bit.  Well, actually a lot.  I've now turned the corner and have returned to behaving like a normal human being.

There's just something about eating chicken while others stuff their faces with pasta that can throw me over the edge...sometimes.  I'm not one to sit around and feel sorry for myself.  Everyone has their shit.  But, this weekend I was just annoyed constantly.  Not my best look.

I will say, however, that I do feel much lighter and happier than I have in a long time.  The more greens, the better is the theme for the next few weeks.  So please be patient with me as I push ahead full throttle.  The scale and my bikinis thank you in advance.
